Call to Worship (Responsive)
Adapted from Psalm 5
L: Give ear to my words, O LORD;
P: Give heed to our sighs.
L: O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice;
P: We plead our case to you, and watch.
L: We enter your house, O LORD,
P: We bow down toward your holy temple in awe of you.
L: Lead us, O LORD, in your righteousness;
P: And make your way straight before us.

Invocation:
We come together O God, to marvel in your presence.  We come together O God, to hear your word.  We come together O God, to offer our prayers and petitions.  We come together O God, to remember around your table.  Be with us and guide our worship.  Hear our prayers, and make us more aware of your presence.  Help us O God, as we seek to be your people.

Stewardship Moment:
When the sinful woman anoints Jesus feet in the home of the Pharisee, we marvel at her extravagance.  When Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna and others provide for the Disciples out of their resources, we marvel at their devotion.  When we hear Jesus talk about the love of those for whom a great debt of sin has been cancelled, we see ourselves.  Our offerings are a reflection of our love for Christ and the debt he has paid on our behalf.  May they truly show our love.

Offertory Prayer:
O God of grace and glory, we come offering our gifts of love and devotion.  Take these gifts and use them to grow your reign on earth.  We offer these gifts as a sign of our thanksgiving and devotion for all you have given for us.

Communion Meditation:
 Paul tells the believers in the region of Galatia: “It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me.  And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)   It is Christ living in each of us which draws us to this table, and allows us to remember the gift he gave.  Come and savor the gift of Christ.
