Dr. Glen Miles
Dr. R. Glen Miles has been the Senior Minister of Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, Missouri, since January 2003. Glen believes the mission of the church is to proclaim the unconditional love of God available for all people.
Dr. Miles holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the School of Theology in Claremont , Calif. , where he focused on preaching and worship. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Emmanuel School of Religion in Johnson City, Tenn., and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Ore.
Dr. Miles has a long history of service to the church in a variety of settings. He has worked in both medium and large congregations and has extensive experience in urban settings. Glen also brings a wealth of knowledge from the secular arena, having served as an active member of several community organizations. Before beginning his ministry at Country Club Christian Church, Dr. Miles served as senior minister of Sandy Springs Christian Church in Atlanta, Ga. He has served churches across the United States, including University Christian Church in San Diego, Calif.; Watauga Avenue Presbyterian Church in Johnson City, Tenn.; First Christian Church in Hanford, Calif.; and others.
Glen and his wife Julie were married in 1979, and have two sons: Nate and Steven.
