What does stewardship look like across the New Testament? This seven-lesson study explores how God’s grace shapes lives of generosity, partnership, justice, and trust. From the teachings of Jesus to the witness of the early church, participants will discover different ways the New Testament connects faith with how we live, give, share, and serve.

Lesson One: The Gospel of Matthew
Matthew calls us to faithful and active stewardship in light of the coming Realm of God. This lesson explores how generosity, accountability, and service to others shape a life oriented toward God rather than wealth.
Lesson Two: The Gospel of Mark
How do we practice stewardship in uncertain times? Mark’s vision of the Reign of God invites us to consider how we use the power God has given us. This lesson explores how hope, generosity, and trust shape our response to the present and the future.
Lesson Three: Luke & Acts
Luke and Acts envision a community where no one is in need and all share in God’s abundance. This lesson explores how generosity, shared resources, and Spirit-led community life can shape faithful stewardship today.
Lesson Four: The Gospel of John
John presents Jesus as the revelation of God. What if our stewardship also reveals something about God? This lesson considers how our lives and communities can make God’s love, healing, and abundant life visible in the world.
Lesson Five: The Writings of Paul
Paul understands stewardship as partnership in the work of the Gospel. This lesson explores how shared mission, generosity, and mutual responsibility shape faithful relationships within the church and beyond.
Lesson Six: The Later Writings
How do we share God’s grace when resources are limited or circumstances are difficult? This lesson explores stewardship as the faithful sharing of God’s grace, including the ways we bear witness through both affirmation and resistance.
Lesson Seven: Two Stories for Consideration
This concluding lesson explores stewardship as an act of trust and full commitment. Through two powerful stories, participants consider what it means to step out in faith and fully embrace their role as stewards of God’s gifts.
